Wearing a yukata The proper way to wear a yukata is not necessarily obvious. The left side of the yukata is wrapped over the right side (the reverse is to be avoided as only the deceased at funerals wear the right over the left), and an obi (belt) is used to keep the yukata from falling open when worn in public. In private, such as after a bath, the yukata is usually simply belted. Thonged wooden sandals called geta are usually worn with the yukata as well. A kinchaku bag also goes with the yukata along kanzashi hair ornaments to accessorize "the look" . Tabi socks are not worn with geta while wearing yukata. Amongst men, the most common use of yukata in public is when it is worn by sumo wrestlers. Junior ranked sumo wrestlers are expected to wear yukata when out in public, regardless of the weather conditions or time of year. During the summer most wrestlers tend to wear this attire. The size of the kimono: Free size for Less than 175 cm can wear. The yukata is made of 100% cotton. Shipping Method BY SAL: $Free 20 to 25 buesiness days, registered.
