Pair 1812 & 1813 Palatine Montgomery County New York Liquor License Livingston

Pair 1812 & 1813 Palatine Montgomery County New York Liquor License Livingston
Description Excellent quality document. Fresh from the estate of a Colonial and Revolutionary historian and author, this is one of many 18th and 19th century documents that I am offering from the collection.
2 licenses issued to Stephen Livingston in 1812 and 1813, mounted to a backing. On the verso, is a page from the 1827 US Congress proceedings. It outlines how the orphaned Stephen and his brother Richard petitioned to receive land entitled to their father, Richard, as a Canada refugee during the Revolutionary War.
