Stunning Paragon Art Deco black chintz cup and saucer! In excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. This is part of my treasured collection of 30years or more. Now the time has come to downsize, and I am reluctantly having to sell my treasures.

This cup and saucer is in light peach. The inside of the cup features spring flowers with hand painted detail. The cup is white outside, with a peach pedestal. Lots of hand painted gilding on both pieces.

This set dates back to the 1930’s/1930’s. Double warrant to both Queens , i.e. the present Queen’s mother, and her grandmother, Queen Mary.

Standard size of Paragon wide top tea cup, approx 3-3/4” diameter, saucer approx 5” diameter.

I do have to mention a light blue mark - which I believe is in the underglazing - on the saucer. It can be seen on the close up photo of the saucer. This in no way affects the value of the set. Cup pings beautifully and the colors are very vibrant.

It has spent the last 30 years in a display cabinet and never used.

Don’t miss the opportunity to buy this set at a great price.!
