W. Paris Chambers was a famous early cornet soloist, band conductor, and composer known for his technically difficult marches. He started out as an employee for Conn, but then left the company to be on his own. While all of of these mouthpieces are in the same style, only one has "Paris Chambers" engraved in it.. The only documentation I found regarding Chambers' mouthpieces is a September 5, 1908 ad in a "New York Daily Tribune" newspaper. This can be found at http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn83030214/1908-09-05/ed-1/seq-37/;words=PARIS+CHAMBERS+MOUTHPIECE . This mouthpiece, along with the others, is rare and would be a great addition to your mouthpiece collection!
