67th Tactical Fighter Squadron - Linebacker - United State Air force Flight jacket patch This is an exclusively rare war piece out of a long held collection. It is a pre-finished, prototype patch for whatever reason remaining unfinished. This piece; Un-cut Un-finished Un-Worn This piece to be completed would require further trimming and sewing whilst main piece to centre in perfect condition. These are the earliest of the pieces with final pieces coming from these prototypes. Part of very small series, should not be missed. 67th TFS - In January 1965, seven pilots of the 67th TFS deployed to Da Nang Air Base, South Vietnam, to become one of the first tactical outfits to support the Vietnamese war. They moved from there out to Thailand for two tours during 1965. Korat RTAFB, Thailand, 18 February - 26 April 1965 Korat RTAFB, Thailand, 16 August - 23 October 1965 The 67th TFS had a third Vietnam War tour in 1972 and departed for Korat on September 15, 1972 to take part in the Wild Weasel Operations.
