Paul Robinson, ETTA KETT ORIGINAL DAILY PANEL ART, 1920s . Paul Robinson created Etta Kett as a daily panel cartoon in 1925 as a vehicle for humorously teaching good manners to teen-agers. Shortly tafter, it evolved into a standard multi-panel comic strip featuring the adventures of the cute, teen-age Etta, her parents, and her boyfriends; Robinson continued the feature until his death in 1974. This is the original art drawn in india ink on heavyweight paper for one of those early daily panels published in newspapers in the 1920s. It is signed in full by Paul Robinson at top right. "CP" label is at the bottom. 12 1/4” x 8” art image on 13 1/4" x 9 1/2" sheet. Paper has darkened a bit with age and are small pinholes in margin only: VERY FINE condition.
