A stunning charcoal drawing on laid paper dating from the middle of the 19th century. Signed indistinctly lower left "Tyvouilly"??? and inscribed in French verso again indistinctly A Sauvage?? a l'Ecole de Moutsell??". Paper watermarked "vanblotague...L Lanard"

Appears to be of an incomplete classical statue

Acquired together with the statue drawing I am also selling - these can both be combined in one tube (please note this MUST be rolled as it is too large to send flat).

Dimensions: 17½ inches by 24 inches (450mm by 605mm)

Condition: in good condition, light ageing
