This is true first half of the 19 th century piece of antique furniture made from the very finest quality quarter sawed oak by the best craftsman of the era. This table is constructed using pegs to fasten every joint. The top of this table has charming “Dutchmen” splices securing the fastening pegs of the top to its base and running the length of a joining top seam. The tiger oak this table is constructed from has remarkably strong graining and aesthetic effect. This style of table make fine sofa and game tables in addition to classic dining tables.
