We offer for your consideration this pair of fantastic club chairs designed by Philippe Starck. The chairs are both comfortable and visually stunning.

In 1986 Starck designed this chair, named the Len Niggelman, for the lobby of the Royalton Hotel in New York City. The chair was produced by Disform, the pioneering Spanish furniture design firm that produced pieces by some of the best contemporary designers in the seventies and eighties - the company won Spain's National Design Award in 1990. These chairs are no longer in production.

A solid wood and polyester frame is upholstered with blue, brushed cotton canvas that is hand-stitched. Two triangular burnished aluminum front legs raise the front part of the chair. One leg on each chair is cast with Starck’s signature.

These chairs are in very good original condition. There are no rips or tears in the fabric.

While they are definitely modern, they will look good with any décor. These chairs come from a smoke-free home filled with Mid Century Modern pieces including those of Eames, Paul McCobb, Paul Laszlo, Milo Baughman, Alvar Aalto, Carlo di Carli, Paul Frankl, John Keal and many others.

Each chair measures 27.5" H X 27.5” W X 37" D
