Pink Dogwood(Apple Blossom)Depression Glass, 10 pc. lot

DESCRIPTION : Offered is a 10-piece lot of pink Dogwood, produced from 1929-1932 by MacBeth-Evans Glass Company. According to Gene Florence(depression glass author), Dogwood is "one of the top ten collectible Depression patterns, but is rapidly approaching the top five." Included in this lot are:

1.) four 8" luncheon plates: excellent condition with no chips, fractures or cloudy glass. A very few stray utensil marks may be seen when tilting plate to the light.

2.) three saucers: excellent condition with no chips, fractures, or cloudy glass.

3.) 1 footed "thick" sugar: excellent condition with no chips, fractures, or cloudy glass.

4.) 1 "thin" flat creamer: in generally excellent condition, but with a tiny pin-point flake on the upper rim (see photo). You have to look hard to see it, but is distinctly felt with your finger nail.

5.) 1 "thin" cup: in generally excellent condition, but with roughness on the base rim. The photo shows that t is no obvious chip, but t is a distinct roughness to the touch, which is variously described as "mold roughness" by some people, or as "flakes from stacking" by other people. It does not detract from appearance, as you can determine from the photos, but is definitely present.
