TWO PLAYBILLS 21 PAGES OF AUTOGRAPHS PASADENA PLAYHOUSE CHILD ACTRESS 1937-1940

Description :
Lot of two Playbills and 21 disbound pages of autographs collected by Doris Brenn, born in 1923, during the years 1937 to 1940 at the Pasadena Community Playhouse. The first playbill is for "The Blue Bird" in December 1937, in which Doris, along with her brother Louis, who was a year older, received credits. and the first pages of autographs includes many of the cast, including Victor Mature (who was then 22 years old), and Edgar Buchanan playing as usual for him, and old man. Doris also did "Paradise Plantation" at the Pasadena Playhouse. Both she and her brother, Louis, had uncredited rolls in a movie musical in 1938, and Louis also had an uncredited roll that year in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". The remaining pages consist of sentiments signed by various members of the Playhouse. The second Playbill is for "What a Life" at the Pasadena Playhouse in which Doris' name appears but is crossed out and she added "Big Disappointment". Other than some later modeling I could find nothing else on her career.
