Polia Pillin cylinder vase w/ women, horse, tree, birds

Up for auction, I have a wonderful Polia Pillin Art Pottery vase. This charming art pottery vase stands 5-3/4" tall and is 2-3/4" in diameter. It is hand painted by Polia herself. It has a women holding a scarf that two birds are swinging on. The woman is holding the reins of a beautiful abstract horse. The horse has a white mane and tail. Also, there is a fantastic abstract tree on the back. The vase is a cylinder style with a 1/4" thick wall. I think I have read somewhere that Polia's husband, William Pillin, hand threw the pottery and polia pillin painted the pots. In any case there is no damage to this great masterpiece of pottery artwork. There is the typical all over light crazing, typical of every pillin piece I have ever seen. No chips, cracks, abnormal crazing, hairlines restorations or repairs. It is signed on the bottom Pillin. Truely a great addition to any California Pottery or American Art Pottery collection.
