is a very unique, one of a kind, military plaque! It says on the front "Post 95, British Empire Service League, Canadian Legion, Akron, Ohio". It is hand made of copper, each letter and decoration was cut and hand placed on this plaque. T are two authentic bullet casings that were cut in half and hand placed on each side. T is an intricate crown, ribbon and design at the bottom also. T is a piece of plastic in the center over top of the red white and blue striped design in the center. The Canadian Legion of the British Empire Services League was founded in 1925. In 1960 the word "Royal" was attached to the Canadian Legion name, so this dates before then. It has wood back and the name Colin written on the back. T is a hanging cord attached. T was alot of work put into this piece of militaria! It measures from top to bottom 12 1/4" and 11" across at the widest point. Please email me with any questions you may have BEFORE bidding please.
