Pre-Hull: The Acme Pottery Co. Lg Tureen Circa 1903

The Acme Pottery Company Large Tureen or Fruit Bowl Marked - The Acme Pottery Company Circa 1903 [Pre Hull - Circa 1905] Aster Transfer

Up for auction is a very old Tureen made by The Acme Pottery Company in Crooksville, Ohio. From research, we learned that Acme was pre-Hull Pottery by only a couple of years. It is in used condition with a few small brown spots which are probably due to a ladle, a thin hairline about 2 inches in length, and a little crazing and Transfer. We believe the flowers to be Asters. It is definitely a piece of history. We were able to find one other piece on the web which was a pitcher and has similar age marks....
