Today I am listing several auctions of OLD model railroad trains and accessories from a local Chicago area estate. All with very low opening bids and NO reserve. Please see my other auctions ~ I am happy to combine shipping. This is a set of three AMERICAN FLYER Prewar tin train cars.I listed them under "O" gauge but am not sure if they are since it doesn't say anyw on them. I will give measurements so you can possibly tell? Each is 6.5" long and 4" high. Measuring from wheel to wheel on the inside is 1 1/8".One car is marked "AMERICAN FLYER ELECTRIC SERVICE 1200 AMERICAN FLYER LINES". It has functioning sliding doors on either side. Lightening bolt logo on sides and back. The other two cars just have an "1103" number and say "AMERICAN FLYER LINES". They have been in storage for a long time and have a bit of a musty smell (like a "basement" smell). I have not attempted to clean them or air them out). Minimal scratches and small spots of missing litho and t Some light surface rust. No dents.Shipping is via USPS Priority mail at the 2.5 lb rate with Delivery Confirmation. PLEASE NOTE ~ I will not be available for several hours before and after this auction ends ~ will contact winning bidder later that day. If you have won more than one auction, please wait for my invoice to pay. If you have questions, please do not wait until the last
