Double your traffic. Sally's Cellar is so excited to offer up for bid today .... A Primitive Allspice box from a wholesale grocery distributor in Philadelphia! This piece is so gorgeous. The construction is magnificent with the intricate dovetailed corners. The lid is grooved and just lifts right off very easily. The box originated through the Krause, Ingham and Hiester Wholesale Grocer's firm. The label is beautiful and most of it is still on this box after all of these years! I researched the company and found some legal documents regarding their store are from 1864. The back of the box has printed in black lettering "The Purest of the Pure". It is a simple box but to have this much label intact it is a perfect addition to a true primitive collection. What do you do with it? Fill it with old kitchen utensils, keep extra hand towels in the guest bath, a great place for a remote or just simply as a perfect display item. I adore this box! The dimensions of this box are: 9x8x7. It weighs approx. two pounds or less. This is a very rare find so do not wait! Any questions are always welcome and encouraged ... simply email us through Ebay. This is your chance....the price is marked low... so rather than just marking it a watch ...... go for it and bid....lead the way!!!! Your chance to WIN the prize!!!! You will not find another item
