Offered for your consideration is a Pennsylvania Railroad triple marked tall globe brakeman's lantern with clear cast globe. The frame is an Adlake Reliable Model which displays patent dates ranging from 1908 to 1923 and is marked with the PRR keystone logo on the top of the dome. It is in excellent all original condition and I believe has all correct original parts that came with this model. It retains most of its original tinning, is rust free, stands straight and has no broken or missing parts. It comes with the original PRR keystone stamped drop in fount and P&A brass burner, also in excellent condition. Burner functions perfectly, wick moves up and down easily. The clear cast globe is in excellent condition free of any chips, cracks or scratches with only the usual top and bottom edge roughness from use as well as swirls in the glass from the manufacturing process. It is cast with the PRR keystone logo, a perfect match to the lantern frame and fount. The globe was manufactured by Macbeth Evans Glass and is cast MEG CO 33 below the top rim. The lantern has been cleaned and is display ready. If you desire to you could fill it with kerosene and light it up. Feel free to ask additional questions or request additional photos. We were unable to get the casting on the globe to show in the pictures but it is t and is a good casting.
