Jekels Ludwig (Louis Jekeles 1903) (b. 15 of August 1867 in Lviv , d. 3 April 1954 in New York City) - Polish-Austrian-American doctor psychiatrist, psychoanalyst .
Son of a merchant Jekeles Isaac and Rebekah. He had an older brother, Leon Uzziah. The father of the brothers died early, take care of her uncle, the lawyer Maurice Jekeles. He attended the III Gymnasium. Franz Joseph in the years 1877-1879 and the Second Gymnasium in Lviv. From 1885 to 1892 he studied medicine at the University of Vienna . In 1897 he organized a private clinic in Bystra Slaska (Bistrai), where together with Hermann Nunbergiem applied psychoanalysis treatment. Then began the analysis with Sigmund Freud .
