This 18" RAGGEDY ANN by the Exposition Doll and Toy Co. is exceptionally RARE. The Exposition Company was given the legal right and patent to produce Raggedy Ann when Volland went out of business. However, they were only in business from late 1934 to the middle of 1935 and a very limited number of these dolls were made and only a handful have survived to this day. She still has her original label on her dress and she wears the original dress and pinafore and pantalettes. She had only one owner and was well loved as seen in the pictures. I am a cloth collector and I find that most cloth collectors are very forgiving of cloth doll wear especially in a doll this rare. She would be by far the jewel of a Raggedy Ann or cloth doll collection. You can see more about her on page 15 of the 2nd edition of The Raggedy Ann & Andy Family Album by Susan Ann Garrison. Please feel free to ask questions and I hope you will bring her into your heart and your collection. Thanks for looking.
