RARE 1920s Federal Cased Floor Model Atwater Kent Radio

Offered for auction today at NO RESERVE is this beautiful late 1920s vintage Atwater Kent floor model radio in a beautifully crafted and ornate burlwood case with rare sliding doors which hide the radio set. The grain of the wood veneer is quite unique and beautiful and also features an ornate carved cornice above the doors and beneath the top. I have not tried to clean it in any way, as some buyers prefer a more vintage patina to the piece. Also included with the radio is the EXTREMELY RARE original installation instructions for the set and speaker which was discovered beneath the set itself. These are seldom, if ever encountered as they were usually discarded after the radio was set up. A beautiful and ornate original ... read more
