Hi Knife Friends, Today We Are Listing A *VERY SPECIAL* Knife, A *MINT*, ~~*CUSTOMIZED *BUCK 110 ~3RD-BOLSTER~ LOCK-BACK FOLDING HUNTER*, MASTADON BARK HANDLES, WITH BEAUTIFUL FILEWORK*~~, Never Used, Carried Or Sharpened. This *Fabulous* Knife Was Totally Reworked By *GILBERT E. MOORE*, 71 Years Young And A Retired Master Machinist From The Old, Colorado Fuel And Iron Works Steel Mill. He Started Rehandling And Fileworking Knives Aprox.3 Years Ago, Out Of His Home In Southern Colorado--For Years He Would Rough-Out A Knife From A Leaf-Spring Or An Old File, Out Of Boredom On His Job, But It Never Occured To Him To *Rework* One, Until His Son "Rory", Showed Him A Customized Parker Knife He Had Purchased. Mr. Moore Prefers Using *BUCK, CASE & PARKER KNIVES*, Due To Thier *Quality*, Unique Patterns, And It Doesn't Hurt That His Son Has A Nice Sized Collection Of These Knives. He Uses Only *Exotic* Handle Materials, And Likes To Inlay *BRASS*, That He Gets From An *Old*, 800 LB. Bearing, That Was Discarded From The Roll Mill, *Cast In 1904*, To Seperate The Different Handle Materials And *ON THIS KNIFE, HAS ADDED WHAT HE CALLS THE *3RD BOLSTER*-A LARGE PIECE OF BRASS INTO THE CENTER OF THE HANDLE*--He Has Even Replaced Original Nickle Silver Bolsters, With Pieces Of This Brass.
