14 (36 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with elongated throat, pale bisque, black sculpted hair waved from face with stippling detail, painted facial features, highly defined eye sockets with brilliant blue eyes, painted facial features, firmly stuffed muslin body with shapely torso, kid leather arms, nicely dressed in white gown, undergarments, leather slippers. Condition: fine invisible restoration to back shoulderplate, otherwise excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870, the superb snood features an intertwined blue and white sculpted ribbon with gilt edging, and two artfully placed white feathers with pink or green tipping, white painted snood netting.
