is a useful and VERY low toxicity metal alloy composed of Indium and Bismuth exclusively , with no lead, cadmium, tin, antimony, zinc or mercury , and it melts at 70.9°C and liquefies completely at temperatures above 165°F/75°C . This very low melting point means it can be easily melted in a pot of boiling water or else with a very small and low wattage soldering iron and be used to seal plastic, glass or metal items that have a lip to mold over and bind with much more strength than waxes, plastics or adhesives. This seal can then be rewetted or broken again simply by using a pot of boiling water or else a very low wattage soldering tool. This alloy lends itself to a wide range of experimentation by the Material Sciences Engineer for specialized applications and usage. This auction is for 20 GRAMS IN A SINGLE ROUND INGOT . T is no restriction on transportation or use of this material since both Indium and Bismuth are environmentally safe elements. The amazing thing is that Bismuth alone melts at over 520°F and Indium at over 311°F. This sampling was made using very high purity components and fractionally solidified over 30X yielding an extremely high purity of 5N - 99.999% Indium-Bismuth Eutectic Alloy . Acceptable forms of payment are: PAYPAL or PERSONAL or COMPANY CHECKS or MONEY ORDERS. Shipping to the 50 states is $6.95 and $
