We have a rare Keen Kutter Boys Oak Tool Chest in Great Condition. This vintage box came from the UP of Michigan from the original owner that was in his late eighties when he let this box go. His parents had purchased this box for him when he was in the Boy Scouts. That would place the box around the teens or twenties for age. The cover has his name lettered on it C.O.Oliver for Charles Oliver the original owner. The lettering is in excellent condition as is the finish for the age. The top does have a few spots that have marking were something had been sitting on it and could use a little cleaning. The hinges work well as does the hasp. Each end has a handle for carrying and the top has a great Keen Kutter brass badge that measures 2" x 2 1/4". The entire box is 27 1/2" long and 9" wide by 4 1/2" tall. The bottom section is 3" tall while the top is an 1 1/2". The inside of the box is in great shape with a fantastic logo from Keen Kutter. The lid has a Childs 20" Disston saw in the holder. The saw could use a good cleaning and the handle does have a crack through it but it is still a nice Childs saw. The bottom section has four divided sections and is very clean. This is just a great hard to find box and I am sure you will not be disappointed. Any questions please email. Check out my other auctions for some great Stanley and Keen
