Mid century modern Lucite light designed to be used with a ceiling fan, but could be easily modified to hang directly from the ceiling, sans fan. Approx. 13" overall diameter. Gold colored hardware in the center with ten (10) clear, triangular (1" x 1" x 1.5") bars of Lucite bent into semi-circles that have faceted 2" balls attached to the ends. Pull chain has a similarly faceted ball on the end. 5 small sockets for lights. Only 2 lights installed, but we've tested all 5 sockets, and they work perfectly. The Lucite parts and connections are all in good shape. The metal switch housing has a few minor scratches, and a discolored spot, but no major dents or damage. We found this at a flea market, w it was being sold as a regular ceiling lamp. On closer inspection, we realized that it was designed for a ceiling fan. The hanging plate is the same gold color as the light box, and will fit on the standard, round switch box of any fan. It also has an extra hole that goes all the way through the socket housing, for the chain pull switch to control the fan motor. The hanging plate could be easily changed to a standard 4" plate for use on a regular electrical box in the ceiling, or for the adventurous sort, a very funky wall lamp. _____________________________________________________________________ Please Note: We will try to ship
