Wow What a Beauty!Offered for your consideration is a lovely Victorian Cream caster. The glass insert is a fine piece of opalescent vaseline or canary glass. The cream pitcher stands 5 1/2" tall. I would guess this piece to be circa 1880 due to the heavy aesthetic style of the silver. The silver holder is quadruple plate although it is not marked, I have a matching sugar up for auction and the sugar is marked quadruple plate silver. Due to some very knowledge glass experts on the ebay discussion boards they have identified the makers mark as Western Silver Company out of business by 1927. This auction is for the creamer only! Check out my other auction for the matching sugar. This creamer is in very nice condition but does have a nick on the spout. Not bad, but it is t none the less. The highly stylized frame is very unusual with cute little bees all around the outside. It stands on 4 legs and the glass insert can be removed. It seems very sturdy and is not bent or damaged in any way. Truly a rare and beautiful piece of Victorian tableware. Please ask any questions before bidding as I am always happy to answer all.
