RED WING Pottery Dunlap Stoneware Mixing SHOULDER BOWL

Beyond the Attic

Original winner of this bowl on an auction in February did not pay for it, so it is being re-offered for sale.

Vintage RED WING stoneware pottery kitchen mixing bowl. It is marked in the bottom COLUMBIA METAL PRODUCTS CO. CHICAGO, ILL. and inside that DUNLAP BOWL in blue ink. T is a center depression in the inside bottom of the bowl for placing the end of the mixer into. Note the 'turkey dripping' of glaze on the upper bowl edge. This bowl has a thick shoulder and dark brown exterior glaze. It has no bottom marks, but can be found referenced in Red Wing identification books. These bowls were made by the Red Wing Stoneware Company for Columbia Metal Products for use with their Dunlap Beater.

This bowl measures 7" across the top and is 3" tall.

Condition is EXCELLENT . I don't think it has ever been used, and certainly no cracks or chips. The exterior glaze is thicker in some places and thin in others - but this is from production and not damage.

Wonderful old kitchen bowl to add to a collection, and if you have a Dunlap Beater but no bowl... this is certainly your lucky day to complete a set!

***Shipping note: I have had many inquiries about the high cost of shipping for this bowl. Please keep in mind that it weighs almost 2 pounds before packing, and with the box
