REGIMENTAL GERMAN STEIN LITHOPHANE 1909-1912-RARE PHOTO

THIS IS A BEAUTY. 12 3/4" TALL. IT BEARS THE NAME OF GEFTR. DEININGER. IT IS DATED 1909-1912. ALSO SHOWN IS PRINCE KARL U. BAY. T IS A LIST OF THE MEN HE SERVED WITH. THEY ARE SHOWN ON EACH SIDE OF THE HANDLE. IT HAS AN IMPRESSIVE PHOTO IMAGE OF THE SOLDIER ON THE FRONT. IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROCESS OF THIS IMAGE, PLEASE LET US KNOW AND WE WILL SHARE ON OUR LISTING.

THE COLORS ARE VIVID AND THE CONDITION IS GOOD. NO CHIPS CRACKS OR DAMAGE. SLIGHT BIT OF WEAR ON THE GOLD LETTERING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WORD"GRINNERUIG". THIS IS SHOWN IN A PICTURE. GREAT OLD PATINA ON THE LID.

WE UNDERSTAND THAT THE SOLDIER ON HORSEBACK MANY TIMES CARRIED A SWORD. THIS SOLDIER DOES NOT HAVE ONE. COULD BE THE ONLY DAMAGE ON THIS PIECE IF HE HAD ONE ORIGINALLY. WE DON'T KNOW.

GREAT LOOKING LITHOPHANE AS SHOWN IN A PICTURE.

GUARANTEED TO BE OLD.
