AN ORIGINAL REMINGTON BULLET KNIFE---VERY RARE This is the real deal! Considered to be one of the Remington Bullet series, this 5" fish or toothpick knife features one long clip blade which measures over 3 1/2". The round shield is a replica of the base of a cartridge. In this knife the pocket wear has smoothed off the Remington logo, but it is all original and shines brightly to match the nickel silver bolsters. The blade is stamped on one side with "REMINGTON UMC" in a circle, bracketed with "MADE IN U.S.A.". the other side is stamped with the pattern number "R1613". I presented this knife to Jim Sargent, one of America's foremost experts on vintage pocketknives, at last years NKCA knife show in Nashville, Tn. He certified it as being original, and to be unchanged since manufacture except for normal wear. The brown jigged bone handles are full and unblemished, and the blade has some minor peppering on the back side, but no pitting or rust. If you are a Remington or vintage knife collector, this is a great opportunity to add a classic to your collection. You seldom see them for sale on ebay, and book value is in four figures. My reserve is reasonable. Shipping in Cont. USA is $5.00. Pay Pal, USPS Money Orders and Cashier's Checks are allowed. Returns are permitted within 7 days for full refund if not as described, less shipping.
