Rare printing of the original Report of the Decision of the Supreme Court of the United States and the Opinions of the Judges thereof, in the case of Dred Scott versus John F. A. Sandford. December Term, 1856.The Washington printing, apparently issued at the same time as the New York edition, of the landmark case, Dred Scott vs. Sandford. The Courts decision was very unpopular in the North among the antislavery advocates. This decision sided with Sandford, rather than Scott who was a slave.
This pamphlet, bulletin of 239 pages has the original green cover wrapper, however, the back cover wrapper is missing. The condition is good with minor foxing, and chipping on the rear page. Overall the book is best described as good to very good.
