Reverend Horton Heat "Liquor in the Front" LP w/ insert

The Reverend Horton Heat

“Liquor In The Front”

Sub Pop SP250

Released in 1994

The third album from the inventors of psychobilly, the last one they did for Sub Pop, the last one with Taz on drums, and the end of the first era in The Rev’s repertoire. This was produced by the great Al Jourgensen (of Ministry), and is the last album they did with a completely rockabilly undertone. Amped up and almost surf-sounding, this album is still a classic that reaches back to the best days of The Rev.

Condition is a pretty solid VG-. Outer sleeve shows some wear, but still well-handled: some light crackle on the spine and the light beginnings of ringwear. Vinyl is also VG- with a couple sleeve scuffs and some spindle trails on the labels. Plays clean through it all. Original insert is also VG- with 1 creased fold in the corner and general handling. Overall, this is a used but well-loved copy that has still held up well.
