Up for auction is a rare, hard to find vintage set of three sherry crystal glasses. All three are signed Richard E. Bishop (1887-1975) and have an etched pattern of three birds (canvas back ducks?) in flight with a spray of marshland weeds along the bottom of the bowl. I have found glasses with colorful birds or foxes but not etched figures. Richard Evett Bishop is a well listed renowned American game bird artist, author, conservationist and designer of the Third Federal Duck stamp. 50 some years ago his most famous bird etchings were fired on glassware and china. His artwork are in museums nationwide. His fine crystal were presented to dignitaries, heads of states and royalty.

Don't miss the chance to own crystal fit for a king or queen. Each glass is free of cracks, chips or discoloration. Just some light normal wear pattern (teeny scratches) to the underside. T is a high pitch tone to the crystal when gently tapped. I have taken pictures with the flash on and off. A ny white or bright spots were caused by the camera flash. The dimensions are almost 2 and 1/4" across the top by 3 and 1/2" tall. Item will be bubble wrapped, boxed, packed with styrofoam peanuts and shipped USPS priority flat rate mail with delivery confirmation. First class shipping overseas.
