This "as issued" "never worn" desert camouflage smock may be of interest to militaria collectors. Otherwise if you are just looking for a nice windproof jacket its a real bargain. While it does not meet the strict eBay criteria for listing on eBay as new I can promise it has never been worn and is in perfect condition. The smock has an unusual combination of shoulder badges. The right sleeve has the normal Royal Marines Commando flash and 3 Commado Brigade "patch" depicting the commando dagger. The left sleeve has the brigade patch for 52 Infantry Brigade. The smock was issued Operation Herrick 7 (Afghanistan) which took place between October 2007 and April 2008. 40 Commado Royal Marines was attached to 52 Infantry Brigade throughout this period.
