Framed, original, Roger Hebbelinck aquatint; signed and numbered (42/350). Roger Hebbelinck (Brussels, Belgium; B. 1912), is a well known European artist of the 20th century. The etching is in excellent condition. The image area is 7 1/2" x 9 1/2". The major element is a dramatic depiction of a gothic European Cathedral. The aquatint was commissioned by Stehli Freres S.A. Editeurs of Zurich, Switzerland and still has its original tag taped, with the original tape, to the sealed back of the etching (please see photo). The overall (framed) size of the print is 14" x 17". The fabric that covers the beveled matte has gotten stained and will need to be cleaned to be perfect. The frame could use a good coat of lemon oil but is in otherwise good condition. The glass is non-glare. Please review the photos carefully. If you have any questions or would like additional photographs please don't hesitate to ask. Please be aware that this item will be shipped fully insured.
