Roseville Artwood Planter- 10 1/2in Long

This is a Roseville Artwood Planter. It is 10 1/2 inches long, 6 1/2 inches high and weighs 4 1/2 pounds on my scale. It features a yellow tulip with green leaves within a high gloss gray and wine planter body. It was made by the Roseville Pottery Company of Roseville, Ohio in the late 1940s. It is marked in relief Roseville in script USA 1056-10. The planter is pictured in the "Collectors Encyclopedia of Roseville Pottery" Second Series, by Sharon and Bob Huxford at page 150, lower right corner picture. Other than some crazing, that I consider minor, and a chip on the bottom of one foot which was probably caused by a stilt pull and cannot be seen as the piece sits, the planter is in otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. The other one without any previous communication with me left me a neutral Feedback. If you are a successful bidder in any of my auctions and you feel that I have incorrectly represented the item, please contact me before posting Feedback.
