This is a Roseville Dutch Creamware plate featuring two Dutchmen walking down a brick road. It is decorated with a colorful decal on an ivory background and includes blue piping around the rim. It measures about 11 inches in diameter and is in perfect condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. The decal is also in good condition with relatively little wear, considering this line was produced by the Roseville Pottery from 1903 until 1916 and the piece is about 100 years old. I have been attracted to the Roseville Dutch line and can state this piece is rarely seen, especially in this fine condition. The interior of the plate does have the crazings typical of the creamware utility line. I am also currently selling on ebay a tankard with this exact same decal which would display well as a set with this plate. I will combine them to save on shipping costs if you are the top bidder on both pieces. Thanks for looking at this valuable addition to the Roseville line.
