Presenting a Genuine Roseville Red Laurel Vase in Original Condition This classic early 1930's Ohio Pottery vase has an art deco thermos-like shape with two curving buttress handles Beautiful in the warm rust red smooth semi matte glaze finish Decoration includes bold black vertical lines with raised green laurel leaves and berries all around This pristine piece displays the distinctive glaze flow characteristics of the 1934 Laurel line - wonderful! Art Deco, Depression Era, American Ceramic Decorative Vase Scroll Down for More Photos Identification: No Roseville mark as is typical of the Laurel line which was distributed with silver paper labels (label not included with this piece). Dry rim base with an under glaze incised number 4 and hand written number 9 and X in black (see base photo) Condition: No chips, cracks, hairline cracks, crazing, restoration or repair. Near the base rim t is one minor dull spot w an overglaze drip was ground down in the factory finishing process, shown in base photo, and not visible in upright display. Clean inside. Vintage pottery in original condition. White spots in the photo are reflective glare. As with all hand finished items, this piece is unique.
