This is a pretty piece made by Royal Doulton in England. It's a Blue Willow milk pitcher with a little bit of embossed scalloping at the top and will appeal to Blue Willow collectors and Flow Blue collectors alike. "Flow blue" refers to the effect that occurs in the firing when blue glaze of a pattern blurs into the white. Doulton mastered this effect producing exquisite pieces. In really beautiful condition, this pitcher doesn't appear to have any chips, cracks or crazing. Measurements are approximate:6-1/2" tall6-1/2" spout to handle3-3/4" wide at top4-1/2" wide at baseMost of my pieces are 50-100+ years old and show age and wear.
