Brand new Royal Doulton Skyfall Bulldog! "Jack" Only taken out of box to photograph. Extremely sought after and rare. Doulton will not be releasing anymore of the Bond Bulldogs,Only as they are. Will be sent by recorded delivery only UPDATE FROM JAMES BOND FORUM , . . I rang the factory to ask what limited edition actually meant. The response was that they had made a batch with the Skyfall branding on the base and when they were gone, that was it. Any future manufacturing would be of the dog, but no mention of Skyfall. On that basis, I bought one! What they did not tell me was how many were produced - at the time of asking they had 250 left and this was on the 24 October. Having seen the film on the 23, I know they would fly off the shelves once general release had happened.The head office of RD is in my home town of Stoke-on-Trent. My mother's husband works for them and says the completely under estimated how popular they would be. That's an understatement. I ordered mine weeks ago and it arrived a day before I saw the film.My brother has now ordered one on back order and it won't arrive till Feb and it won't be in Skyfall packaging or have the back stamp.
