May 29, 1922 registered inflation cover from Ulanov, Podolia to Dr. Brender at the Hilfskomite in Berlin. The correct registered franking of 400,000R is with a combination of 2k and 15k Imperial Arms stamps revalued to 20,000R and 150,000R plus a block of twenty 7500R Soviet pictorials - 5x2k=100,000+150,000+20x7500=150,000. However, note that the 15k Imperial Arms stamp was not part of the official revaluation of Imperial Arms stamps and thus should be considered as local provisional use by the Ulanov Post Office. The back of the cover has been cut and folded out so the franking can be seen with Moscow and Berlin cancels. Note the red registration number with circled "R" cachets for foreign use. Entire cover is opened for display with roughness at the edges. Shipping will be $3 via First Class Airmail, although I strongly recommend that foreign bidders pay $14 for Registered Shipping. NOT E: Dom estic shipping for packages over $100 must carry full insuranc e. For more Russian 1921-1922 Provisional Covers, etc, please check out my other items !
