This is a rare 1894 Russian .875 silver spice tower that would make a nice addition to your silver Judaic collection. Three silver figures playing musical instruments supporting the spice globe. The base has hallmarks on the bottom The maker's mark (KII); the initials (AA) over the year made 1894 (AA - stands for Assa Apollonovich Artsybashev); the 84 stands for the Russian silver proof (their standard is .875). The spice tower is approx. 3 1/2" and weighs 47.2 g. The globe opens and closes with the catch working smoothly. There also maybe some very slight superficial scratches or crazing but you must really look to see them.
