This is a collector's item: a full sheet of 50 stamps --- one for each state in the Union --- as part of the "Greetings from America" commemorative. Each state has the saying "Greetings From XXXXXX (Name of State) with images of something that is synonymous with that state...from a tourism perspective. On the reverse side of each stamp is information about each state. For example, Wisconsin: BIRD (Robin), FLOWER (Wood Violet), TREE (Sugar Maple), CAPITAL (Madison), and STATEHOOD (May 29, 1848). The postal value of each stamp is 0.37, or the total value is $18.50 (50 stamps X 0.37). Shortly prior to this commemorative being released, the USPS raised the first class mail rate from 0.34 to 0.37, and they reissued this entire sheet at the new rate...one of the few times they have done that for a commemorative stamp. I am selling one of these (the 0.34 stamps / $17.00 total postal value) as well in a separate auction...everything is the same except for the stamp value. This has been stored away from light in a smoke-free and pet-free home, with minimal handling, and there is no wear and tear showing. These stamps require moisture to affix. I will ship this purchase for free via USPS First Class Mail in a flat envelope, inside a clear plastic sleeve (either in a hard cardboard mailer or inside a file folder in a water-repellant mailing
