Saint John of God Oil Painting by Carmelite Artist

Thanks to Pope Benedictâe(tm)s visit to our country, we had a Bishop from South America come through Miami , and drop off Carmelite Sister Maria Teresaâe(tm)s new summer collection of original oil paintings.

We have represented Sister Teresa in this country for several years, but due to a natural disaster in her country, we had not been able to get any of her work for a while.

Sister Teresa is a Catholic artist that paints behind monastery walls to support the work of her religious community. Each painting is personally hand painted by her, and each is given an antique finish to resemble the paintings in her own monastery.

The one you are bidding on is 13.5 inches long by 10 inches wide. The paintings need to be professionally stretched and mounted on you own frame. All the wrinkles, if any, will disappear after the canvas is properly stretched. We start the paintings at auction for the actual cost of the materials used, and then pray the paintings sell well above the reserve, so her community can continue to feed the poor that arrive every day at their soup-kitchen.

Good luck bidding!
