Sasha "Saturday's Child Works Hard For A Living"

Up for your bidding consideration and pleasure is a new Sasha doll ensemble made from 100% cotton fabric. "Saturday's Child Works Hard For A Living" is a rhyme from and old English fortune telling poem from 1838 first recorded in "Traditions of Devonshire". Our Saturday's child is such a great help to her Mom. She offers to help before anyone asks! Saturday is wearing a Liberty Of London print topper embellished with vintage lace and a silk ribbon flower at the neck. She wears her topper over gingham bloomers. Saturday's child loves to help, and gets plenty of play time in too. Amazing to find gingham and velvet hair ribbons that match, then tied in a sweet bow. A charming poem, do tell, what day were you born on?
Included in the auction is the dress, bloomers and hair ribbons. Topper bodice is lined and closes in back with snaps, seams are over locked. Ensembles shown in last photo are offered in separate auctions. NOT included is my doll, her shoes, tights and props.
Made in a smoke and pet free studio. Please email with any questions prior to bidding and thank you for viewing my auction.
