2 - 1970 Schwinn Cotton Pickers Serial # LF 60597 and Serial # LF 64694 Both Nov. 1970 Fresh from the basement after 30+ years. Both of these bikes were a 1970 Christmas gift to my Brother and me. These are awesome bikes that are original from tires to paint and everything in between. The frames still even have the original sticker from w they were purchased( American Cyclery 1901 S. Broadway Denver, Colorado). We took good care of our bikes and rode them throuhgout our neighborhood. One of the bikes still has the original Schwinn spedometer that reads 1096 miles. Both bikes are in good condition. Suspension sissy bar and shifting are in good working order. Chain guards are straight but missing paint. Chrome has light rust on wheels. Fenders, Springers, Handlebars are in good shape. Paint is original with light pitting, small scratches, and normal wear thru in the normal spots. Seat on one of the bikes has a nickel size wear spot but otherwise seats and grips are in good condition with yellowing on grips from age. Original rear Sting Ray slicks are mounted on S - 2 rims. Original front Schwinn Superior tires are mounted on S - 7 rims with Atom drum brakes. Tires are in suprisingly good condition for 37 years old. Slightly separating and dry rotting but hold air and ride fine. I don't recall ever even changing a tube. The bikes
