The Scout" British Boy Scouts Baden Powell 1937

The Scout" volume XXXII for 1937 published by Arthur Pearson London. "The Scout" was the official weekly publication of the Boy Scouts in England and is similar to 20-page version of a Boys' Life published in the 1930s. No color but lots of black and white photos and illustrations to go with the Scoutcraft, fiction, cartoons, camping and various Scout and boy activities. Book is hardcover and measures 8.75 inches wide x 11.5 inches top to bottom and is printed on a newsprint-like paper typical of the era. Book is EXCELLENT in spite of the bend on the front and back covers. This volume is a bit unwieldy at 2.5 inches thick and 1072 pages. Ink signature neatly done of previous owner on inside front cover, but there are no other markings in the book. Pages are in great shape. The inside back cover has about about 75% separation from the book but is still slightly intact.
Book is being sold to benefit the Grand Columbia Council based in Yakima Washington, and will be shipped media mail to USA addresses ONLY.
