Rare 1970’s Selmer 30SS 30 Watt Solid State (Transistors) Guitar Amplifier in great working condition. Great sounding full tone amp with a lot of bass and warmth. Stays clean and clear throughout volume range and takes external drive pedals well. Two completely separate chanels - one of which has spring reverb. Twin speakers are Celestion red dot black back 10 inch as made from about 1975. The ‘T’ number from the frames is T2348 and the markings on the cones are 1129 - from reading threads I gather they are G10S 25Watt - pretty much a 10’’ version of a 25W greenback. They are 16 Ohms (two in parallel = 8 Ohm equivalent total load) and I have wired an extra jack plug socket at the back so as the combo can be used by an external amp purely as a speaker cab. There is also a switch so as one speaker may be used in this configuration alone (load = 16 Ohm when used as such). There are also hefty rubber feet screwed onto one side of the combo so as the cabinet can be used vertically upright as well as the usual horizontal. Finally there is a wooden board which screws into place on the back to convert the cabinet from a semi-open combo style to fully enclosed for a different response and tone from the speakers! Collection only from Brighton, south east coast. Payment by PayPal or Cash On Collection fine, so long as amp is collected within
