A big and beautiful WWII era display propeller by Sensenich from the iconic Boeing/Stearman PT-17.This large propeller features 8 laminations of birch, and a wonderful golden patina. The 8 bolt holes match the Continental R-670-5 engine (a 5 cylinder radial making 220 HP).I believe this propeller was manufactured between 1938-1942Dimensions: 98" long 6" hub thickness 9 1/4" hub width (this was one of the largest propellers manufactured by Sensenich) I truthfully know very little about the prop although I do know that this is one of the largest propellers they made and is around 75 years old. At this point it is certainly only a display model but this is a great piece of aviation history. Overall condition is not great but I would consider it good. There are some scrapes on the hub and the wood has a couple of minor splinters on each wing. I have tried to take the best pictures possible of the prop. It is being sold as is. Feel free to ask questions. I will do my best to ask.
