Up for sale is this beautiful "Little Dolphin" Ironwood Carving skillfully crafted by The Seri Indians of Sonora, Mexico . This carving is a unique and original work of art individually created with a tremendous amount of work and artistry in order to obtain from the sculpture the simplicity of detail, the beauty and unusual dramatic modernistic appearance. For the serious collector, or anyone who shares an appreciation of Indian Culture... here, a rare opportunity to acquire an authentic cultural piece of art. Carving is approximately 3-3/4" inches high, 2-1/2" inches wide, and 7" inches long. Unpacked, it weights approximately 9 .5 ounces. Item comes with a " History descriptive pamphlet" and Certificate of Authenticity.

Identification

This piece was completely hand made (no machine used) an original work of art crafted by the Seri indian master artisan Solorio Martinez Ibarra as indicated in the Certificate of Authenticity Serial Number PCH-1182024 This piece was obtained and made in November, 1982 in Punta chueca, Sonora, Mexico.

Condition:
