I have up for bids, a ship running light, I believe is from the 1800's..It is a kerosene light with a green lens..It is 15" tall, the glass is good, no chips or cracks, the bottom opens so you can get to the fuel tank..the hinges are good, the latch is good. The knob that raised and lowers the wick works fine, but it does need a wick. This light is all original, has not been painted..It is not as bad as it looks in the pictures, you can clean it or leave it like it is..I will leave that up to the buyer...as you can see in the picture, the top of the chimney is cracked, but does not hurt the operating.. Most of the items we sell are sold on consignment..we can not be experts on every thing so we will discribe the item as to the best of our knowledge and furnish pictures. Some descriptions may not be the same as yours, everyone has different standards of describing thing. Most of the items we sell are used ( unless otherwise mentioned ) and tfore all sales are final..We do not try to mislead or misrepincent any items..ALL ITEMS WILL BE SOLD AS IS, UNLESS STATED OTHER WISE..Returns will be at our discrepancy. We will not be responsible for damage or lost items, so buy insurance or take the responsibility yourself..Thank you for looking and bidding.
